Nabbing Video Pirates: Who Needs Google? Response

After reading the "Nabbing Video Pirates: Who Needs Google?, I had some time to think about the topic. It makes sense that people want their videos copyrighted similar to anything else, but in my experience with YouTube, things have been made much easier having been able to see pretty much any video I set out to see. I think the pirating software that they are implementing is going to limit YouTube in some ways, but it will make it more fair for the people who first came out with the videos and will prevent people from copying their film and claiming it as their own. This software could also help those who filmed the videos first because they are able to use it as a way to add marketing through those online videos.
